Concentration: 40 U/μL
Product Type: RNase Inhibitor
Unit Definition: One unit of RNase Inhibitor is defined as the amount required to inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng of RNase A. RNase A activity is measured by its ability to hydrolyze cyclic 2',3'-CMP into 3'-CMP.
Overview:
SignalChemd Diagnostics Murine RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant mouse RNase inhibitor expressed in E. coli. It specifically inhibits RNases A, B, and C by binding noncovalently in a 1:1 ratio with high affinity. Compared to the human-origin RNase inhibitor, murine RNase inhibitor does not contain the two Cys residues that are sensitive to oxidation. Therefore, Murine RNase Inhibitor has improved resistance to oxidant activity and is more suitable for assays with low DTT concentration (<1 mM). This product is compatible with our Reverse Transcriptase (Cat# RTH04-E29B) and various DNA polymerases. It is ideal for high-OTT-sensitive applications, including RT-PCR, and is commonly used in cDNA synthesis, polysome isolation, and in vitro transcription/translation.
Components:
Murine RNase Inhibitor (40 U/μL): 50 μL (for 2KU); 250 μL (for 10KU); 500 μL (for 20KU); 2.5 mL (for 100 KU); 500 mL (for 20,000KU)
