Concentration: 5 U/μL
Enzyme: Ligase
Product Type: T4 DNA Ligase
Overview:
SignalChem Diagnostics T4 DNA Ligase catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds between the 5' phosphate and 3' hydroxyl ends of adjacent nucleic acids, enabling the ligation of blunt and sticky ends of dsDNA in the presence of ATP as a cofactor. It can also repair nicks in dsDNA, dsRNA, and some DNA/RNA hybrids, but it cannot ligate single-stranded nucleic acid fragments. This product is suitable for 3'-end RNA labeling, circularizing RNA and DNA oligonucleotides, cDNA cloning, and other applications.
Components:
T4 DNA Ligase (5 U/μl): 200 μL (for 1,000 U); 10 mL (for 50,000 U)
10X Ligase Buffer: 400 μL (for 1,000 U); 20 mL (for 50,000 U)
Storage and Shipping:
Store at -25°C ~ -15°C for up to two years. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
