SignalChem Diagnostics Taq DNA Polymerase is a heat-resistant recombinant enzyme derived from Thermus aquaticus, with a molecular weight of 94 kDa. It exhibits 5'→3' polymerase and 5'→3' exonuclease activities but lacks 3'→5' exonuclease activity. Amplification products contain 3'-dA overhangs, making them suitable for direct TA cloning.
