Overview:

SignalChem Diagnostics Universal Blue qPCR Master Mix (Dye-Based) is a 2X premixed solution designed for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) with high sensitivity and specificity. Its distinct blue color allows for easy sample tracking during pipetting. It contains a Taq DNA polymerase with antibodies for hot-start reaction, which can prevent non-specific amplification caused by primer annealing during sample preparation. Additionally, the premix includes enhancing factors that improve PCR amplification efficiency and ensure uniform amplification across genes with varying GC content (30–70%), enabling accurate quantification over a broad dynamic range. This product also contains a special ROX passive reference dye that is compatible with most qPCR instruments and therefore does not require concentration adjustments. Only a template and primes are needed to set up the reaction system for amplification.
