Overview:

SignalChem Diagnostics mRNA Vaccinia Capping Enzyme, GMP-Grade (10 U/μL) is used in the capping of in vitro transcribed (IVT) mRNA to enhance its stability and translation efficiency. In eukaryotes, mRNA forms a cap structure at the 5' end after transcription, which is crucial for mRNA stability, transport, and translation. Vaccinia virus capping enzyme efficiently catalyzes cap formation and consists of two subunits, D1 and D12. It possesses RNA triphosphatase, guanylate acyltransferase, and guanine methyltransferase activities, enabling the addition of a 7-methylguanine cap (m7Gppp) to the RNA 5' end (m7Gppp5'N). Manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, it ensures high purity, batch-to-batch consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Storage and Shipping:

Ship on dry ice and store at -25°C ~ -15°C for up to 1 year.
