Overview:
SignalChem Diagnostics PNGase F, Glycerol-Free (100,000 U/mL) is an amidase cloned from Elizabethkingia miricola and expressed in yeast. This enzyme is supplied in a glycerol-free formulation optimized for HPLC and mass spectrometry applications.
With the specific activity of 100,000 U/mL, PNGase F efficiently cleaves N-linked glycans—including high-mannose, hybrid, and complex oligosaccharides—at the amide bond between the innermost GlcNAc and asparagine, converting the asparagine residue into aspartic acid. The enzyme is His-tagged to ensure complete and consistent deglycosylation of antibodies and glycoproteins. It is provided in a glycerol-free storage buffer containing 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 50 mM NaCl, and 5 mM EDTA.
Storage and Shipping:
Store at 2-8°C for up to 1 year. Do not freeze.
