Overview:
SignalChem Diagnostics RNase H II, Glycerol-Free is a ribonuclease derived from Pyrococcus abyssi and recombinantly expressed in E. coli. It recognizes DNA/RNA duplexes and cleaves the RNA strand from the 5’ end, generating a 5’ phosphate and a 3’ hydroxyl group. However, it has minimal activity on single-stranded RNA and does not cut double-stranded or single-stranded DNA. RNase H II exhibits optimal activity at 70–75°C, remains active between 50°C and 75°C, and has very low activity at room temperature. This enzyme is highly thermostable, retaining nearly full activity even after 45 minutes at 95°C, and is compatible with various PCR reaction systems. Additionally, the glycerol-free formulation is optimized for lyophilization.
Storage and Shipping:
Store at 2-8°C for up to 6 months.
Additional Information:
Applications: 1. LAMP detection with high-sensitivity probes.
2. RNase H-dependent PCR (rhPCR).
3. Elimination of mismatched ribonucleotides generated during PCR.
4. Degradation of the RNA segments in Okazaki fragments.
