Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that incorporates 1 nmol of dTTP into acid-insoluble product in 10 minutes at 37°C using Oligo(dT) primers.
Overview:
SignalChem Diagnostics Advanced Reverse Transcriptase, Glycerol-Free (600 U/µL) is a modified version of the M-MLV (H-) RT, the Moloney murine leukemia virus reverse transcriptase with removed RNase activity. It offers greater cDNA synthesis efficiency, higher thermostability, and an increased reaction temperature limit of up to 60°C.
This enzyme can synthesize cDNA products up to 10 kb in length and has improved template affinity, making it ideal for reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures or low-copy targets. Additionally, the glycerol-free formulation is optimized for freeze-drying applications.
Storage and Shipping:
Store at 2-8°C for up to 6 months.
