Overview:

SignalChem Diagnostics Hot Start J-Taq DNA Polymerase, Glycerol-Free (6 U/μL) is a hot start DNA polymerase that uses antibody-blocking technology to achieve high sensitivity and specificity in PCR amplifications. A brief 30-second heating step at the pre-denaturation temperature fully inactivates the antibody, releasing both DNA polymerase and exonuclease activities. This enzyme effectively minimizes non-specific amplification caused by primer mismatches or unintended annealing. Additionally, the glycerol-free formulation is optimized for lyophilized reagent preparation.
